Here in northeast Florida as we have moved into October, we will finally reach the end of hurricane season, thank God. Compared to other years, this for us has been a blessed year. In Matthew 5:45 (Living Bible) Jesus says that Father gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good; He sends rain on the just and on the unjust. It is a time to thank God for receiving us as good and just in this season.
In a sermon Jesus spoke in Matthew 6:25 (Living Bible) we are encouraged not to worry about the things necessary for our everyday life. God knows what we have need of and will supply for us. Even nature expresses Father’s faithfulness.
As you live out these last days of the storm season heed the words in verse 34. So don’t be anxious about tomorrow; God will take care of your tomorrow, too.
Live one day at a time. Rejoice in Father’s goodness manifested to you through the sacrifice of our precious Jesus.
Praying for a peaceful October for you.
